Moana, Week 4, Day 4

Moana

The movie is about a girl named Moana Waialiki who is interested highly in the ocean, however she is not allowed to go near the water because of her father, the chief, but goes anyway because she is given Te Fite's Heart by her grandmother.  She also goes because the fish and coconut trees are dying and disappearing.  She soon crash lands on an island where she finds Maui who has lost his hook after stealing Te Fite's heart.  Afterwards they go on an adventure to find Maui's hook and restore the heart of Te Fite to it's rightful owner.

The Beach, Week 4, Day 3, Part 2

The Beach

I live near the Karoro Beach, meaning that many cars come to see the beach.  Here are three reasons why tourists might come to the beach:

1. With sand, driftwood and bushes, bonfires and shelters are built often and it's interesting to look around.

2. The beach has a part above the water where you can check on the water and look out at the view.

3. Tourists may come to this beach in search of shells or small fish.

My Coalition Group, Week 4, Day 3

My Coalition Group

If I were to make a Coalition Group with two people, It would be with my friend Matthew, who seems to have interests in things that many others have interests in (apart from sports), and would produce good ideas if needed.  My other friend, Shannon, would also be pretty handy as he works hard and is interested in things that I'm not so much in.  He has quite a few smarts in his head which would be helpful in the group, he's even smarter than me in some subjects!

Per Mertesacker, Week 4, Day 2, Part 2

Personally i'm not completely into many sports, however I love playing soccer and when dads watching soccer it's usually Arsenal I'm the most interested in.  The captain of Arsenal currently is Per Mertesacker, who was born in 29 September 1984.  He is a German professional footballer who plays as a centre back and is a captain of the Premier League club Arsenal.  I admire him because although he has only appeared 155 times, scoring 8 goals, he has tackled 150 times and succeeded 74% of the time.

Richie McCaw, Week 4, Day 2

Here are three things I have learnt about Richie McCaw:

1. Richie McCaw didn't really understand who the all blacks were until The 87 World Cups.

2. He wasn't the most talented player, but he did have a massive desire to join the All Blacks

3. He got targeted by many teams, by people who had already been banned for weeks.

If there were more I'd want to learn about Richie McCaw it would be what did he do before he became an all black?

300 Million Dollars, Week 4, Day 1, Part 2

300 Million Dollars

What would I do with 300 million dollars?  I would likely share it between my family first, then I would spend the rest on an okay, but not too expensive house.  The reason I would not buy a mansion is for this reason; even with 300 million dollars, covering the costs of a mansion would still be a challenge. This is because of the amount of energy, water, food and other supplies which is used per month, meaning it would be a giant bill every year.  This is why I would not get a giant mansion and just get a small, but decent house with equipment that doesn't break all the time, if I still had extra money (which is highly likely) I would store some of it in the bank to get extra income, and most of all, some insurance for the future.

Celebrating a Win, Week 4, Day 1

Celebrating A Win

When we celebrate something great, such as a birthday, we would have a few friends over play some games somewhere, usually at the pool or a park.  Then we would go have a snack at some tables nearby and this is usually just junk food such as chips, lollies and chocolate.  Afterwards we would go out to a restaurant and order some delicious food to eat, and half of the time it's so filling that we don't even order dessert!  Then we all go home and say goodbye to each other, usually it's pretty late around then so half of us would probably go to sleep.
