Living In Jupiter

Living In Jupiter

“Hello my name is Pete, Pete Johnson.  You might know that I recently lived in a space station studying the stars around the Universe to earn my prize of $1,000,000.  The good thing is that I completed my mission, but the bad thing is that I had to go to the hospital for extreme treatment straight away.”

“I completed my first mission in space but can I complete my second?  My second mission is to explore the planet I was 6573 kilometers away from. Do you know which planet it is?  Yes it is Jupiter.  My prize will be $5,000,000 this will likely be the death of me but I’ve got to try. Wish me luck!”

Entry 805: “Dear diary I am currently about to blast off to space once again, yay…  I am in the NASA rocket again to get to my destination, Jupiter.  This mission is to explore jupiter and collect some samples from Jupiter for scientists to study.”

Entry 806: “Dear diary I am now flying in my NASA rocket heading toward Jupiter.  Now if you know from last time I ran out of food and water and heat, but it won’t happen this time!  The reason is because now I have triple the heat, triple the food and triple the water.”

Entry: 813: “Dear diary I’m very close to Jupiter now.  At the moment I’m searching for samples with my new high quality scanner which can detect new samples in less than ten seconds.  I think I might get sucked into Jupiter’s gravitational pull because I’m running low on fuel and I’m very close to Jupiter.”

Entry 814: “Dear diary I ran out of fuel because I forgot to fill my fuel tank from my last adventure.  The horrible thing that happened is that I got sucked into Jupiter's gravitational pull.  Luckily Inside Jupiter is a whole new world.  It’s got trees, food, water, and there are friendly aliens here too.”

Entry 818: “Dear diary I have sadly ran out of ink again so I asked an alien with green scales and dark red eyes if he had any.  The alien pulled out a large jar of blue ink and offered it to me so I have decided to use it even though it seems a bit suspicious.  I wonder where it came from?”

Entry 823: “Dear diary I have been told by my friend alien Jeorge Carma ( Jeorge Carma) that the leader of this fascinating planet stores in his secret lab a large bucket of fuel which is 15x the power of a normal bucket of fuel.  I need to acquire this large bucket of fuel because if I do it will give my NASA rocket enough power to thrust through Jupiter’s gravitational pull and then I will be able to get home!  The only issue is how am I going to get into the lab to get it?”

Entry 832:  “Dear diary I have been studying the king’s castle for the past nine days and I’ve found it!  The way to get in is by pressing 5 large golden buttons behind the leaders throne, but you have to press them in the right order to get into the lab.  Then I realised that there were 5 button shaped wood parts sticking behind my hotel room, they each had a number ordered from 1 to 5 and they were in the exact same position as the large golden buttons behind the throne, then I realised what the combination was.”

Entry 837:  “I have prepared myself and Jeorge Carma for five days with daggers, AK47’s, AK47 bullets and just a few bombs for when we leave.  We crept into the throne room ducked behind the huge throne and typed in the code, it worked!  Inside all you could see was guards all around, we ducked under a table with a long tablecloth keeping us from being seen eventually everyone left and we were safe to explore.”

Entry 837:  “Dear diary we did it!  We searched the laboratory and eventually found the large bucket of fuel, but we got caught. The soldiers pulled out their rifles and looked at us fiercely we pulled out our AK47’s and shot them until they died but that wasn’t all, there were strong warriors with heavy armour guarding the exit and the king commanding orders to kill us.”

Entry 837: “We fought with all our might but our weapons were nothing against them, but then I remembered we had bombs!  We threw a bomb at them and took cover behind a wall then all that was left was a gaping hole in the exit way.  We ran to my NASA rocket filled its fuel tank with the bucket of fuel and blasted off together back to earth.”

Entry 844:  “We have been flying in space for seven days and now we are home.  I have been awarded $5,000,000 for my extreme bravery and scientific discovery.  Now what do I do with all this money?”

Porters Ski Trip

Porters Ski Trip

On Monday the 15 August 2016 me and my class went to Porters to go skiing for the William Pike Challenge Award. We got put with a group of students and parents to travel with to Porters.  My group was me, Ryan, Wil, Ms Kemp and Mr Pattinson, eventually we got in Mr Pattinson’s car and we drove to Porters.

First we got our ski equipment and brought it to the first slope we were doing which was the beginners slope. We got put with a ski trainer depending on our ski level, I have only skied once so I was on level 2.  We got taught to stop, slow down, turn and of course how to actually ski.

Once we were done our lesson we had lunch and water to keep our brain and body powered with energy.  After lunch we were free to do whatever we wanted.  Eventually after playing a bit in beginners I decided I wanted to go to intermediate so I practised until I was ready to go to the intermediate slope.

Eventually I got there and was ready to go down the intermediate slope.  I first went down with Mrs Williams for my first few times, then Mr Bugler went down with me the rest of the time, Ms Kemp ran along with me too.  Later that day I got really good and eventually I got really tired and managed to crash through a net and into a fence, luckily though I ended up okay.

In the end we decided it was time to leave.  We packed away our equipment, got our shoes on, hopped in the car and ate some food.  While we drove back to school we played I spy, I managed to get a hard one Ms Kemp made which was evaporation.

Eventually we got to our destination, school!  Once we were at school we waited for our parents to come pick us up from school.  In the end my parents came, we thanked the other parents and teachers for the amazing trip and we were off home.

Living In A Space Station

Space Station Year Unknown

Entry 573: “Dear Diary it is day 573 in space.  I live in a big space station made of pure silver. I am approximately 6573 kilometers away from Jupiter.  It is reasonably cold over where I am but luckily I have a few heaters scattered around my base which thankfully keep me from freezing to death.  I am Pete Johnson and I am here to live for hopefully 2 years in this space station, to study millions of stars around the Universe to earn my prize of $1,000,000.”

Entry 655: “Dear Diary it is day 655, I think.  The heaters are getting more and more useless.  I was going to grab something from the cupboard to eat but everything was frozen so I tried to use the oven to heat it but then I remembered I had 15% power.  I had to save power for when I would leave.  I had to eat the ice to get to the apple but the annoying thing was that it was floating due to low gravity.  On the plus side I was fully hydrated.”

Entry 699: “Dear Diary it is day 699 but I’m not sure since I’m losing count.  From memory I only have to study approximately 3,245 more stars to get my prize but the issue is that I’m getting low on food and water.  I can’t wait to get home in 31 days!  The heaters have run out of power so I have had to use some power from the engines to power the heaters.  Consequently the engine’s down to 10% so I need to hope nothing else bad happens.”

Entry 729:  “Ran out of food… water…  the heaters are dead. Only 5% left on the engine's power… so close to my reward… $1,000,000.  My body temperature is down to what I think is 27℃… 5 stars to go… I can do it… 1 day to go!
Entry 730:  “Done!  I finally completed my mission of studying all the stars around me, I found a new star and called it Stana.  I learned about different constellations which were surprisingly near to The Big Dipper. I had to write this with some blood I still had in my body because I ran out of ink, surprisingly I had quite a bit left.  I have had enough of this cold retched place so I am out of here!

Entry 735: “Dear Diary good news, I’m alive!  When I landed on earth using my NASA rocket I got extreme treatment straight away.  I was in the hospital for 4 days at max.  When I was released I gave my information to NASA and was rewarded my prize of $1,000,000.  After that I went home to my family and lived a very happy life.

Welcome To My Blog

Creating my first blog was difficult because I didn't know what to do, and it hard to post because I knew everybody would be able to see it!
