Poi Rākau, Week 1, Day 4, Part 2

Name Of Game: Poi Rakau

The Goal Or Purpose Of The Game:  The Goal is to work together as a small group using rākau, passing them to improve hand eye co-ordination without dropping it or hitting other players.

Two Rules For The Game:
1. You may not dig the stick into the ground.
2. As you get more confident, move a step backwards to make other sticks harder to reach.

  1. Kia ora Aedan,

I was just watching a video yesterday of people playing Poi Rakau! It looks like it would be a fun and funny game to play with lots of people. I like that you have added a link to a Poi Rakau webpage so that people who are interested in playing Poi Rakau are able to click on the webpage in order to find out more information.

Have you played Poi Rakau before? Who did you play this game with? I think I'm going to have to introduce it to my friends for us to play next time they come over to my house. Thanks for sharing!

    Keep up the great blogging!

    Noho ora mai,

    Emiely :)
