Per Mertesacker
Personally i'm not completely into many sports, however I love playing soccer and when dads watching soccer it's usually Arsenal I'm the most interested in. The captain of Arsenal currently is Per Mertesacker, who was born in 29 September 1984. He is a German professional footballer who plays as a centre back and is a captain of the Premier League club Arsenal. I admire him because although he has only appeared 155 times, scoring 8 goals, he has tackled 150 times and succeeded 74% of the time.

ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge soccer fan, but my friend's favourite team is also Arsenal! He is Arsenal mad. Seriously, his curtains are Arsenal, his bag and wallet are Arsenal, his phone case is Arsenal, he has Arsenal posters everywhere... I mean, the list goes on.
I didn't know that Per Mertesacker was the captain of Arsenal. He sounds like he is a good tackler! I think I've only ever made one successful tackle playing soccer on the beach with my friends.
