Farmer, Week 4, Day 4, Part 2

Being A Farmer

2 reasons I would become a farmer:
1. Because you can make your own cheese, butter, ice cream and supplies.
2. Because you could make a fair amount of money from making free-range supplies.

2 reasons I would not become a farmer:
1. Because you would have to take care of the animals needs while taking care of your own.
2. Because you would have to make your own plots for the animals, meaning it would take some time to complete.

  1. Kia ora Aedan,

Thanks for sharing your different ideas for why you would and wouldn't want to become a farmer. Being able to make your own ice cream, cheese, butter and other supplies would be rather fun I think! Plus you would know it was fresh because you've made it yourself with the freshest ingredients your farm can offer.

Overall, after weighing out all the pros and cons, would you decide to want to become a farmer or not? It's a tricky one, but why or why not?

I know that you live by the beach, so would I be correct in saying you don't live on a farm? I know a lot of the other kids in the West Coast live on a farm though. We don't have very many farms here in Auckland, but I'd be interested in visiting a few more. Farm animals are awesome. :)

    Keep up the great blogging!

    Noho ora mai,

    Emiely :)
