Meat And 3 Veg Rule, Week 3, Day 1

The Rule Of The Meat And 3 Veggies

The Meat And 3 Veg Rule was used by many housewives towards making an evening meal.  They would pick a meat such as beef, lamb or chicken as the main meat, and pick 3 veggies to put aside the meat.  This could be anything such as the cooked potato, crisp cold carrot, or even some cooked pumpkin, and this meal would produce enough vitamins and energy for humans to continue on working for almost the rest of the day!

  1. Kia ora Aedan,

I like the way you have explained what the meat and three vege rule is and you have even explained something positive about having this rule. Well done! The meat and three veg rule does sound like it provides great nutrients and protein for the day! It sounds like quite a filling meal doesn't it? One of my favourite meals is roast pork with roasted kumara, carrots and peas, topped with some warm gravy. Mmm... Yum! Since roast meals are my favourite, I think I'd enjoy having the meat and three veg rule. Would you enjoy having this rule? Why or why not?

    Keep up the great blogging!

    Noho ora mai,

    Emiely :)
